Not because I was feeling sorry for myself not having a Valentine, but that all of us who are alone on this holiday can't seem to find each other. I know many people who have resolved to create an anti-Valentine's day protest of sorts, preaching their annoyance at the greeting card companies and saying that there's no love in the world, but it's not true. Love exists, and, even though it's hard to find, I'd like to believe it's out there somewhere. So maybe this Valentine's day, we can forget about being cynical and bitter, and look to the future, to all the love waiting for us out there. Other people are lonely too, we just need to find them."
